Very true, Old Grunt. I have one copy that's a little smaller than a deck of cards.

The information is compact and provokes pondering and thinking. Someone trying to overexplain it is just going to fuck it up the experience of reading it.

I carried a Lexan spoon out to the bush. It had some practical purpose. That's why I didn't carry a knife.

Replace it with a Sawzall and you have your fighting knife AND your breaching tool!

I have always kept my proficiency level high with a knife. I have a small collection at home. This one I can throw if needed from 4 meters. Knowing that if I didn't kill the person he just acquired a new weapon to stick me with. But hey you never know.
