Introduction.

Post by phawk711 »

Rangers,

My name is Paul and I am 21 years old. I currently build and sell fire apparatus. I have enough college credits to obtain an E-3 pay grade before I leave, but no degree. I attended MEPS on 04 NOV 06 and fought for my 11x w/ Option 40. I leave for BCT on 09 JAN 07. I intend to read and gain as much information as possible before I leave.

Thank You,

Paul

Thank you all for your replies. Today I put in my official letter of resignation at work. One month left before I ship out. Everything seems to be getting very real now, but I'm getting more and more excited!

All eyes forward, leave no doubt.

It's not right if I don't say welcome to the site Phawk. So Welcome.
Best of luck to you and don't ever fail in what you wish to become. You can take the short bus or jump from the big one, it will only be your choice. Now it's up to you. Drive on young man.

Well, Paul, a man has but one chance to make a good initial impression. Yours is marginal at best. Here we have better things to do than correct spelling and grammar: but Ranger's is posessive; Rangers is plural. Please read the FAQs, stickies and selected threads. I feel comfortable in saying that just about any question you might raise has been answered at least once -- remember the search button is your friend. Study the Ranger Creed and think about what it means. You will be amazed at how many begin training with you and fall by the wayside. Never, never quit.
