Week 4 of RIP

Post by Joseph PrettyDeepWater »

As a couple of my buddies have already stated we are starting week 4 on Monday. We received our orders yesterday before PT. I chose and received 2nd Batt. It was a real motivator to get our orders. I know we still have 1 week left so I'm staying focused, although I'm starting to see that light at the end of the tunnel.
Other than that, I'm just enjoying my weekend and going out to buy a jacket. It was 25 degrees this morning...My California blood isn't used to that

People can still get dropped up to the last minute, so don't count on graduating until you actually are done with all of it.

Sounds like you have been doing a good job though and we are all rooting for you. Don't do anything stupid from here on out - you are so close to making it.

And, if you're taking leave enroute to your assignment, don't do anything stupid while at home. Stay focused and as others have said, even though you have your orders, you can still get bounced out prior to graduation.

Well, today I graduated RIP.
I feel honored to be apart of the 75th Ranger Regiment.
I know I have a lot ahead of me especially once I reach battalion.
Right now Im just proud to have achieved the goal I set out to reach.

Also, I wanted to thank all of the Rangers who have given me information and insight into becoming a Ranger. Also thanks to Ranger Hoover who mentored me through this whole process and always had faith in me.
It was a big motivator to know that someone who has what it takes and knows what it takes thought that I could make it.
