Introduction
Hello every one. My name is Jason. I am 31 years old, and live in california. Due to circumstances in my life I have never been in the military. It however has not curbed my complete and total respect and gratitude for those who are, especially those who do the jobs no one else wants to. I am honored and humbled in your presence.
I am an avid hunter, camper, and hiker. I love to shoot, my favorite type is long range shooting. I was a certified EMT for 6 years and took every additional class I was allowed to take that was for the Paramedics. I have all of the qualifications to be a Police Officer in the state of california. I like field craft and survival.
In my life I have read many books, and articles, and have taken every opportunity I have been presented with to enjoy the personal experiences of those who have served and wished to share them with me. I have been particularly intrigued by those who have served as Army Rangers, and in the LRRP's. That particular job has fascinated me for years.
In my lifetime I have found few occasions that the english language has failed me, in providing me with the ability to express a feeling. However in this case it fails misserably. I am unable to come up with the words to express how I feel, so I am forced to say it in this way and hope it is understood with the full power and feeling I feel when I say it.
To those of you who have served, who are serving, and who will serve our country. Thank You.
Jason

Welcome Jason. And one thing to add from those of us that have been in the military, we should be thanking men and women like you too. Some people serve there country by being in a positon to defend her during military action, but we need brave men to women like yourself to help keep our day to day lives safe. Police officers, Fire Fighters, EMT's and others in these fields are needed just as much as we are to keep this country and our families safe.

I have been lucky enough to catch the BRC on tv a couple of times. That is the most intense competition I have seen in a long time.
I didn't know that anyone could go on base and watch. I would love that.
Thanks,
Jason
