Introduction from a Scotsman - hide the booze

Post by Adouglasmhor »

Good day all, I am Douglas Gray from Glasgow in Scotland, I found this site due to the kind actions of one of your members who gave up his own time to join us in the humiliation of a Fake Ranger (and also a fake Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu* instructor who is ripping off kids. *choppy socky stuff).

A little about me, I served in the British army's Royal Corps of Signals from 1984 to 1991 and reached the dizzy height of lance corporal. I worked in supply in large field unit in Germany and Cyprus, and then did a little ECM, ECCM and basic Int. stuff in Northern Ireland.

During my service I managed to get HepC from somewhere and had a few ups and downs before getting my health on an even keel. I now take a bit of care about it and manage to do yoga/pilates classes, visit the gym and train in a traditional martial art as well as do my job as an Administrator.

I joined your site as I like the mindset, humour and out look of the members here and some other Ranger veterans I have read on other fora. Hope you don't mind if I lurk a bit and read some of your output.

However, we'll have all the single malt scotch whiskey and Guinness you've got available.

Some other guy will be along shortly telling you to get an avatar.

Welcome.
