holy shit, I just flashed back to about 4 different flights I've had. with native born, American, English speakers. sitting right next to them, nudging the fucker with my elbow, looking them dead in the eye, YELLING into the intercom,

"CAN YOU FUCKING HEAR ME? YEAH?! THEN FUCKING TURN RIGHT BEFORE WE GET INTO THE LIVE IMPACT AREA! THEY HAPPEN TO BE SHOOTING 155s TODAY AND I REALLY DON'T WANT TO GET HIT BY ONE."

or, "hey, look right. Tom, look right. LOOK RIGHT!... EMERGENCY I HAVE THE CONTROLS! ok, now look right. yeah, that's called fixation. so you completely missed the fact that we got below the treeline, were 50' AGL at 90 knots, and you were trying to crash into the target. if I had let you go 2 more seconds, we would have mushed into the target, and we'd be at the hospital pissing and bleeding, instead of at the bar tonight, best case. don't forget to scan while trying to line up a shot. now, let's try it again..."

I don't know, I would think that allot of the people that you deal with would at least have an ejumacation.

well, most of the others delt with trying to get a stupid fucker to quit shooting 50 or rockets before we actually flew through the target area/blast frag. to the point of throwing a knife edge strike into their chest to get them to listen to me at 200m from the target at 80 knots...
