Aloha squid & Welcome

Thank you for your service to our country. Did you spend any time on a ship? I have a friend who was a Sea Bea in RVN and never spent a day on a ship.

Hello
Only got one stupid question (Its amazing, that search button).
I apologize in advance if this question offends anyone.

Are most of you guys (seals,FR,rangers,or sf) machine-like psychotic monsters? Aka Rambo or the punisher

You always hear about the ex-sf jumping on the hood of a car and going through the windshield to get one of the guys driving, never about the guy whose a manager at Sam goody and doesn’t attract much attention

I ask this because the few spec war people I have had the chance to talk to had a very aloof attitude and wouldn't waste time talking to me.

Like I said before I apologize in advance if this question offends anyone. It is a question I am looking for a legitimate answer for.

I don't even know if this is the right thread.

Squidward-
Please wipe the seaweed off your shoes before walking on our floor. Welcome to the site, Bro, and thank you for your service.
In answer to your question, there is "aloofness" scattered here and there, but around here, it's all in jest. Sounds like you simply met some pecker-heads. Generally speaking, the stuckup badass types that you are referring to are more often than not, posers. The true SpecOps warriors who I have met (in ALL branches) have all been very respectful, polite, and squared away. They don't need to put on a "show" for anyone.....their actions speak for themselves. You'll find many that fit the latter profile on this site. Glad to have you aboard.

No. We are very sensitive people and are very concerned with the welfare of our fellow human being, his (or her) quality of life and the quality of life of everyone on the planet. Personally, I wish that everyone on the planet had the same things I have in life, but mainly, that they are also surrounded by people who also care about them, as much as I do. Please, when you shop at the grocery store, only purchase those items that use at least 75% post-consumer recycled products, like Rangers do. It's in our creed - perhaps you have not read it yet?

*Ranger Luna - get the hockey stick warmed up.
