My name is Zach A.K.A. Doc X I'm 25 and currently waiting on approval of a waiver as I was honorably discharched out of the Coast Guard During basic due to a dental condition. Well a few years and $14,000 later I fixed the problem and decided to be a real soldier. Currently I'm torn between The Rangers or Special Forces. I wanted to mention after reading Leathernecks posts I recieved some positive reinforcement that I desperatly needed. All my idiot friends are giving me hell for joining and then they constantly nag me because Im always reading manuals books studying the Ranger Creed and such things because I feel you shouldnt wait to have someone teach you what you can learn on your own.
