Hello Fellow Rangers, I've been haunting this site for a while and figured it was time for a little intro. Thirty years ago this week, 2 months after my 18th birthday, I departed for Ranger school from Ft Lewis. I was in C co 2nd Bat. from 75-77 (R.S class 7-76). After serving with 2nd Bat I went to 3/60th inf from 77-79, ending my US Army service with a short stint in the reserves in 11th SFG(A) Columbus Ga. In 1980 I moved to South Africa and served with 44 Para Bgde's Pathfinders. I moved back up to the Pac Northwest in the early 90s (after college and aimless drifting) taught scuba (PADI) and managed the Ft Lewis sport dive center for a while (about 6 years). At present, I'm finishing up a 1 1/2 year remodel on my new house and spending my coffee breaks lurking on this site and others. My brother is an ex 1st Bat. guy from the early 80s and I keep forgetting to ask him how often he shaved his legs!!! Cheers!!!!!
