New pistol
Well, I've been a stranger here pretty much since I took that new job back in June. I just haven't got the time to post a whole lot from work anymore (I guess thats the difference between having a job you hate and a job you love). I've still been getting out to the range and shooting, working up another AR build, and having an USPSA Open Pistol built to shoot 9mm (124gr over 1300fps).
Here is a pic of the pistol:
I shot it a little before the scope was mounted with some 115gr bullets chrono'ed at over 1450fps. It shoots soft and flat with some damn sweet fireballs coming out of the compensator!
I hope to get back to participating more in the next month as I complete a couple of involved projects at work. I'll also get some pics of the AR up as soon as I get it finished.

Yeah CAL, thats an Aimpoint CompC 7MOA. I tried the C-More with a Carver mount on a Glock and didn't care for it all that much, had a hard time finding the dot, and when I did find it with both eyes open, I saw two of them!

Here is a newer pic of this pistol. I had to send the Aimpoint back in for warranty repair, as the dot was alternating on/off with every shot fired. The load I use is 7.2gr of VihtaVouri N340 under a Montana Gold 124gr FMJ. It is doing about 1350 feet per second. The pistol shoots very flat.

Ranger Ranger175csar:
That is the Infinity TriGlide with along/flat trigger insert. Basically its a trigger bow with disconnector, sear spring. The sear spring and trigger bow have a small ball bearing as their contact surfaces, and the disconnector is designed to work with those two parts. The sear spring is titanium. The inserts are available in numerous different shapes, I chose the long/flat as it fits my hand/finger length. My Limited pistol has the exact same trigger in it. They are available in many different colors.
Its about 3.5#. The long/flat insert allows me to just get the amount of finger on the trigger that I need.

Here are 3 videos of me shooting my first match with this pistol yesterday in Dundee, OR.
Windows Media Format:
First Stage of the Day
Third Stage of the Day
Last Stage of the Day
They are about 4MB in size. It was a good day, the pistol ran flawless, the only problems were of my own inexperience shooting Open Division. I finished 5th overall out of 41 shooters, and took 1st Place in C Class.

They work fine. You might be missing a codec that allows for .mpg playback.
Try www.winamp.com and d/l the free version. That works pretty well.

Thanks Ranger ma91c1an, I'm improving, I've been doing this for about 4 years now, and mostly shoot a Glock 17 or 34, and a STI .40 S&W. I am feeling the pull of the 'dark side' (Open Division), it is such a blast to shoot. Both eyes open, put the dot on the target and hammer.Ranger ma91c1an wrote:Brother, you are the heat.
This video is of the guy that built the pistol I am shooting in the above videos. He is real fast. He usually wins every match, though some go-faster guys are creeping up on him.
Turn & draw hit 6 poppers, reload, hit 6 more poppers in 5.43 seconds.
