Thanks for allowing non-rangers on the site. I appreciate it.
Enlisted Jun 1967. Basic at Ft Knox KY. AIT also at Ft Knox KY, radio oper.
ABN school Ft Benning GA Nov 1967 (fondest memory running for opening shot of Green Berets) and making my 5th blast from a raggedy-assed c-119.
Assigned 82nd Sig Bn Ft Bragg NC (participated in SPRING 1968 "racial"
riots at Wash DC)
1st INF div (2/28th inf 3rd brigade) RVN Jan 1969- Jan 1970.

It's not a lot but it filled 4+ years pretty well.
