Army Times today.....RIP

Post by hit_it »

Normally don't do this, but today I saw that one of my former recruits was Killed In Action in Iraq.

SPC LANCE S. SAGE, DEC. 27TH

This is tough for me because that man lost 54 pounds to join our beloved Army and went 100% and then some. He wasn't a Ranger, Paratrooper, SOF but he is a hero.

It was his dream to serve and his mother fully supported him.

I can't locate her as she has relocated down south and I don't remember her name.

All The Way, Lance. Rest in Peace, Warrior.

Going contact Casualty Assistance about this ASAP.

If this is inappropriate, please move to the big boy room.

Hit it, I scan the casualty lists everyday hoping not to see someone I put in, It's tough when you know their family and friends, former teachers where they grew up etc. I'm sure he was an oustanding soldier and like the great ape said ..everyone in uniform is a hero..
