I personally take my ass off and leave it at home at times. Mainly because guys say, "get your fat ass out of my chair suka". Or if I am standing in a group, someone says, "get your fat ass out of my way suka." On really rough days, I take off my head and leave it home as I am tired of hearing, "you are one fat head." what are you dense or something?

P.S. Hey "fat ass,"I see this is your 1st post, what do you say about making an intro as is usual and customary on this board of all. Go to introduction section. It is clearly marked, you "fat ass".

Just what he said. We can't give advice if we don't know anything about you.

If you happen to be on your way to Ranger school.....................never mind. Go make a fucken Intro.

We don't appreciated it when someone enters our house (this forum) by the side door. We prefer everyone to ring the bell and introduce themselves in our house. It is a simple policy. Even easier if they read FAQ at the top of forum. So zeus, don't go away mad, just go to introductions and tell us about yourself, then come back here and we will talk civil to you. It is simple.

the Rangers have given you a mission. go complete it.

but( and i must be sick in the head) i will answer your question. 18% percent body fat is considered normal. most americans hover between 22-26% body fat. 24% and above is considered over weight. above 26% is considered obese.

Ok, I'll try to be the first one to some what answer this thing. First don't plan on being in the best shape of your life the day you get out of Ranger School. You will be far from it. If you're like most people you'll lose a good amount of muscle and so your BF % will be higher once you complete school. And I've been in the "Fitnees Field" for eight years now, so I can tell you 18% BF does not really mean you're ready or not for Ranger School.
Not sure what you're heard your know about Ranger School, but it's not somewhere you go to "ripped." The main you you should be worried about is be ready in the head for it. If you're ready mentally your body will be just fine....usless you're a fatass.

Some advice I heard was "get as fat as possible and still be able to pass the PT test".

From what I've gathered watching Survivor (not that that compares) and talking to my buddy who is a personal trainer, that's not necessarily the best advice.

Going in with as much muscle mass as possible is a better bet.

(JLP, you gave some good advice, I was just chiming in from a different angle.)

I've been doing pretty good at the first part of that statement, but I don't think there is a PT test in my future.
