Ray shipping out

Post by Ray »

Well Rangers and fellow DEP's, MY time has finally come. It was almost two years ago that I first sat down with my recruiter, and I had to wait till I turned 18 before I could do anything. I have been working very hard to prepare myself physically and mentally. I am a little nervous, but more excited than anything. Although I only posted on this site when it was necessary, I learned so much from it. Thank you Rangers for your helpful information and your prior service (and for some current service) to our country. What I want to get out of my service is something I can be proud of the rest of my life, as you all have. I'll report back ASAP.

I will NOT let you down...

I don't want to speak for Ranger Bell Ray, just pretend you hear his voice dispensing good advice to you. He may even be back soon.

Good luck Ray, you will be a fine young man. Hooah!

Ray-
Thank you in advance for your service. Everybody can't be the best...only the ones who want it bad enough can. It's your dream...don't let anyone or anything stop you from getting it. Now, go "Break a leg!" Good luck and please keep in touch.

Since I don't really give advice, I'll leave you with some words from my Ranger Buddy, the Mailman,"It can always get worse." So when everything seems like it is at its worst and you can't take anymore, just take comfort in the fact that it is NOT as bad as it seems; it could always be worse. Drive on.

Never quit Ray. Never ever quit. Passed out on a stretcher is the only way you allow yerself to get outta there. If yer awake and know they're hauling ya out, then yer a quitter. Knowing yer a quitter is hard to live with Ray. Don't ever do it. Drive on and on and on.

Thanks Ranger Steadfast.
