Airborne Graduation

Post by Planned Panic »

Well deadbolt, jester, and I graduated Airborne today and we will be leaving for RIP on monday morning. All of our jumps went good, with no injuries. There was only one major injury in our company, one of my friends got his leg stuck in the suspension lines and ended up breaking his femur. I'm not sure excatly how he broke it, since there are alot of different stories going around. There were a couple of guys that tried to wear contacts for our first jump and the blackhats knew they had them in so they got dropped from Airborne, and one of them was a member from this board, Hightower. Its sad that they don't have the dicipline to just do what they were told, but now he paid the price. But us three and a couple of other highly motivated guys are going to stick together all the way thru RIP. I have met a couple of people that really want it, but there are also alot that just want to "try it out and see what happens" and there are alot of people that already dropped it, and some are still thinking about dropping it. But hopefully we can all meet and exceed all of the standards they set for us and join the brother hood in a few short weeks. But I have to go now and I will post a SITREP after RIP.

Thanks for the report and congrats to the three of you who succeeded. You've got the wings and a Maroon Beret....now go get the rest. Don't stop until all three of you are wearing Tan Berets and Scrolls. Keep it up!

The next part isn't as hard as everyone makes out. When they say "RUN", you run....when they say "STOP", you stop.....when they say "PUSH", you push....when they say "SHIT", you don't even ask how much, you just drop your pants. In other words, just do exactly what you're told, when you're told, and you'll do fine.....others have made it, you can too!
