intro and condolences
Hey gang,
I'm a little embarassed that I found out about this site from a Ranger buddy who called to tell me of one of our owns passing. The article was right in my face when I first logged on. I wont bore you all with the cliche' BS but even though I had'nt seen that young man in 7yrs it still hit my wife and I hard.
I remember him fondly and can only offer my condolences to his friends and family. He is a hero.
RIP Kimmel.
That said, I look forward to engaging the lot of you in mindless banter over the comming months and years. If anyone is in NE Ohio (and our COl. used to joke at block leave that all of 3rd Batt was, in fact from Ohio) drop me a line. I'd love to catch up with any of you and my wife misses being the "Sqd mom".
Quick shout out to RangerStew. You little hobit looking SOB! Just flipped through the pics of the RenFaire in Peachtree city.....Damn we were geeks!
