Intro Alex
Hello my name is Alex I am 17 years old currently a senior in high school in Crestview FL, just outside camp rudder. I have becoming a ranger on the top of my list of things to do with my life. My dad was a ranger and later taught ranger school until he retired. I come here hoping to learn as much as possible to ready me for what lies ahead.

OK, here's the deal. Since you're from my neck of the woods, since your Pop's is a Ranger and since I made such an incredible funny while ago with someone else, I am not gonna put the SNAP on you...
But you do address me as Vak, Ranger's as "Ranger (their name), then the topic in a respectful manner. And typically only after you've researched the hell out of a topic before you post something stupid. Most questions have been asked, discussed, researched, commented on, debated or otherwise gone over at one time or another. So, the search button is your friend. As is the reading of the FAQ's.
Now onto what I was saying earlier. My old place on Navarre Island I heard got smacked again. As did one of my Bro's places in Mobile. So, I am happy to hear that even the edge didn't get the Ft. Walton/Destin area.
As Bell said, get your Pop's to register. Lot's of us old school guys running around on here.

I apologize to VAK and any Rangers that I may have offended in my previous messge. I forgot the easiest rule of all. I have never been in a situation where I have had to follow Parade Rest or anything like that so I hope you will forgive me.
And Vak, the storm surge was bad but I thought you were talking about more of the EAFB area. The beaches that are closed off for military personnel and their families only were both completely wiped out in the last two hurricanes, the surge probably destroyed any small progress they had made on those or the dunes.

As an aside here. Don't think that get's anyone out of sugarcookies. Motherfuckers would still do water PT if there was an on-going hurricaine... Nothing like push ups, sit ups and happiness in the tide only to roll around in the sand while your soaking wet with sea water before your morning run to make you feel like happiness.
