Ranger Humor or Truth?

Before the major battles between I-Rack & U.S. Forces were over this incident happened. . .

A detachment of 1300 I-Rack soldiers were traveling slowly during darkness. The I-Rack point heard a voice and reported to the Col. what they heard. A voice stated, "One Ranger can take on 10 I-Rack soldiers." The Col. had his men line up across the road from the voice and take up defensive positions. The I-Rack Col. ordered 10 of his men to go over the dune and quell the voice of that soldier. As the soldiers crossed the dune and disappeared from sight gunfire erupted, and then silence. No I-Rack soldiers returned. A voice clearly stated, "One Ranger can take on 100 I-Rack soldiers." The Col. upset that none of his men came back sent over the dune 200 I-Rack soldiers. Gunfire erupted as the soldiers disappeared from sight. Grenades went off. Screams were heard. Then all went silent. No I-Rack soldiers returned. A voice clearly stated, "One ranger can take on 1000 I-Rack soldiers." The Col. was very upset. He all ready lost 210 men. The Col. sent over the dune his remaining 1090 soldiers. Tremendous gunfire erupted as the I-Rack soldiers disappeared beyond the sand dune. Grenades exploded. Lights flashed against the night sky. Screams were heard and then silence. One wounded I-Rack soldier crawled over the dune and the Col. walked to the man and asked, "Report soldier." The soldier said, "The Ranger lied Sir. Col. there weren't one of them but two of them."
