Post by airbornepog »

Hey whats up Rangers. I am currently serving in Korea. I am in the BTB, 1st HBCT, 2ID. I have been over here since July 2003. My MOS is 52C, utilities equipment repairer. I work on A/Cs and generators. Yeah I know, I'm a pog, support, whatever else you want to call me. I graduated from airborne school before I came over here and I am on orders to the 75th Ranger Regiment. I am going to report in August. I tried to get RIP when I was at airborne school, but they told me to get a real MOS and then come back. I was on assignment to a Special Forces Support battalion at Bragg, but a few days later it changed to the 75th. I don't really know what to expect when I get to the unit. I know I will probably take a lot of shit both there and on this board because of my MOS, but I'm not a punk and I'm pretty good at what I do. I have been in a weak ass signal unit since I have been over here, and it will be good to serve with some real soldiers for once.....

Welcome... It apears you will be going to a Ranger Support Company. As far as I know so far you'll be wearing a Red (Airborne) Beret and RIP will be voluntary.
