Were'nt you TOLD not to post for one week?SuperStud wrote:i was wanting to know how long the holdover for RIP is right now and if we can go home during that time
Good luck in your Army future.
And God shall wipe away all the tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death. Neither sorrow, nor crying. Neither shall there be any more brain; for the former things are passed away. - Revelations
Unless it's a dire family emergency, I would sugest that you stay where you're at and do lots of P.T. before your class date......don't get side tracked now or you will lose focus...

Ahh dude when I was in RIP pending we went home every weekend...dude trust me just ask the cadre. RIP pending and RIP have nothing to do with each other just say YO SARG I will be at home if you need me, he will say eh buddy thats cool...you just gotta leave a number..you understand the little nitty gritty things like numbers and stuff.
Unfortunatley, the Army and especially the Ranger Regiment. they frown upon Rangers or "future" Rangers doing PT in thier off time. They worry about things like the Rangers hurtingthemselves off duty and they want to be able to track your performance based off of thier PT schedule, don't PT ever, unless you are with your unit.XCrunner wrote:While in hold you can P.T. on your own right? Or is there not enough time to do that? Thank you Rangers!
It's all good.

Bud, if you can do more PT on your own after the Cadre get through with you have at it.
In some ways RIP hold is worse than the class. Because the Cadre gets bored.

Yet they keep it on the packing list. Nevermind they are fucking desert boots, gotta bring kiwi to JRTC. I miss RF1 packing lists. One page that makes sense.rgrpuck wrote:Vee wrote:Tenn-RGR wrote: Shut the Fuck up and go put some kiwi on your boots!!

Someone needs to teach the regular Army how to make a packing list.
