Combat Badge authorized for all

In a reversal of plans, almost everyone who comes under hostile fire will be eligible to wear a new Combat Action Badge.
The Army announced today that in response to soldier comments from the field, the service has decided to expand the pool of eligibility to â€œjustly recognize the actions of deserving soldiers in combat,â€

H8 that's exactly what I was thinking.

I'm still for the retire naked idea: Start off in the Army with every award, badge, tab, and rudy-kazoo coin out there and try to 'earn' them all away. Basically you would see some private with nothing on in class As and say now there goes a bad mother fucker!

Now that is funny!

I remeber backin the early 90's they talked about doing branch specific berrets. Talk about fucked up! All the leg infantyry would look like UN pansies and the signal corp would glow in the dark.
