Welcome Doc. Thanks for your service to our Nation.
What's the funniest thing you saw during your time as a Doc?

Lets see Ranger Vee, the funniest thing I ever saw as a medic? There was once a puke of a private that attepted to get out of P.T. probably 3 or 4 times one week. He would come in and say his knees hurt (who's didn't). The next time was a headache and flu or something. Finally, he drew the joker and came in saying he was pissing blood. Well, if you say you piss blood it means the P.A. gets to put his finger in your butt. Our P.A. was rather large man, Special Forces tab, and really didn't like pukes. O,ya he had really big sausage fingers. Anyway it would have to be the look on private pukes face when he left the aid station. I believe one of the other medics handed him a cigarette as he was signing out. I've a few more I'll share with you later.

Hey there Choirboy, You were there the same time I was. If you remember all the medics were HHC but the line medics were attatched the there respective companies. Therefore the line medics had to pull Aid Station duty just like the HHC medics. Good to see someone from the Arctic tundra on here.

I think everyone has a story about CSM Sneed. Good guy. His last formation before he retired was in our quad, was sad to see him go.Airborne Medic wrote:Hey do you remember CSM Sneed? I got a kick ass story top tell about him some day.
DeJong was our platoon medic.
