SITREP

Hello, well I just finished my 10th week here at Ft. Benning. Right now im on my 36-hour pass. We just took a PT test yesterday to see who could go on pass, I only scored a 232 so I need to work hard while I still have the chance. They say I'll probablly start Airborne school on May 2nd then off to RIP. Just got go through the motions for now. Basic wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. To all those who are waiting to go still make sure you at home doing PT. Do at least 100 push-ups a day and run a mile or two. You'll be more squared away if you start doing that shit now.

Good SITREP there Justin, keep driving on. My suggestion would be to work on your run alot. The pace in Airborne will kill you it is so slow but if you continue to pound the pavement real hard you will fair better come the time you are off to RIP. Out running light is definately a plus in Bn.

Hey everyone. Today on April 22nd I graduated OSUT A co 2/19 3rd PLT it was a good ass feeling. I then got moved to 1st BN 507th A co for Airborne hold. I start on May 2nd so its no big deal. I also managed to get my PT score up to 246 but I still have a lot of work to do. If any of you DEPS have any questions for me I would be more than happy to answer them just send me a message and I'll try to get back to you ASAP. Good luck.

Justin, I'm glad to hear that you made it to Airborne School.
Now, here's my advise, I hadn't been at RIP a day and I knew that all of us (myself very much included) were not in shape at all.
Compared to Airborne School the runs were just smokin', so when you think your doing good, well you may be, but RIP will take it to another level completely, so PT NOW so you won't be hurtin too bad in RIP.
I'm telling you this because I want to see you make it.
Best of Luck to You! RLTW!
