The author of this thread (Malarkey) requested that his pictures be removed from this thread. The only way that I could accomplish his wish was to delete his original post. Here is a copy of his original post, minus the photos:
Early this morning I, along with 56 others, donned berets for the first time. All of the hard work we put in to get here finally paid off, and it was a great feeling as you all know. We got sent home on leave, but when I return, I'm going to inproccess 3d Batt, and I can't wait to get the ball rolling there. Ranger Disinfertention was able to stop by graduation today and impart some words of wisdom and a Drive On Tab to a young Ranger, which was truly awesome.
DEPs, if you really want it, the scroll is yours for the taking. Work hard, stay focused and do what you're told. It's not complicated, you just have to want it.
Thank you all for the guidance and help you provided, it really made the last few months a lot more painless.
