No, you are not.

You make reasoned and logical statements, using facts to bolster your position on every topic you address, whether military, political, or historical. It is evident you are well educated from schools and experience, both military and civilian.

You post some of the sanest comments on these boards.

Thanks. Actually I'm a renaissance redneck. A few weeks ago a handful of us were sitting around Puck's house drinking beer and watching his horse graze, and the conversation was about whether or not Cicero and Josephus were correct in their description of Jesus... then we branched off trying to remember what Tchaikovsky song had the bugle calls in it for cavalry. Not your normal farm talk, but it is for us. (this is our Ranger commune that I keep talking about - 2 Rangers, one Delta support, one IG LTC)

Most of my studies were self taught and I really haven't gone to any higher degree of learning. I did get a two year degree, but it was mostly made up of "time served" in the Army.

I always get a kick whenever I'm doing a lecture or speaking tour to a bunch of lettered professors and they learn that I never went to a real college. They don't know if they should sit and learn, or walk out in disgust. Most sit there but I've had a few that were annoyed I was allowed to speak.

Hmm, interesting since Cicero (that is Marcus Tullius Cicero) was assassinated ( I am doing this from memory so check my dates) around 43 BC. I believe it was for opposing Mark Antony. They actually displayed his decapitated head (and hands) on the Rostra in the Roman Forum. Anyway, he was exiled to Greece and I believe was a Quaestator in Sicily, but I don't believe he ever made it to Judea.

Perhaps you are talking about Marcus Tullius Cicero minor? I can't recall when he died or his writings (some of which were said to be plagiarism of Greek works). Based on my parenthetical comment, I would be skeptical about any claim he made.

I agree. They should set up a pie stand in front of the capitol.

By my math they would only need to sell about 14,000,000,000,000 pies at 1.00 each to get us out of the hole.

Start baking assholes !
