yhea, I'm all messed up. I've got about a year worth of work to do (aint I optomistic) and a month to do it in. But by the grace of God, if %110 and some planning will get it done, I'll make it.
I went in today and talked with my recruiter, and made sure I seperated what I thought was going on (which was right) from what some other civillians were telling me.
I'll try to make sure my next posts are a little less retarded.

If you dont go to bed sore every night till you leave you are not going to make it. You better get your head out of your ass or somebody like H8 will snap a knot in it. In your current mental condition I would be more concerned about Basic than RIP

On the running part, may I suggest when you run and all of a sudden your heart stops, that’s when the run starts. When you feel like the bottoms of your feet just tore off that’s when the run starts. The thing is every time you run and reach your limit that’s where the run starts. The best part is running up and down hills without slowing down on the incline. RUUUUNN!
Check with your diet also. Make sure you eat right as long as you can. No fats lots of all that good stuff.
RUN man RUN!

Hey Young POP,
If it's any help to you I will admit, that when I first signed on I was sure that I wanted an Airborne slot, when the computer spit out three they were all Ranger Battalion slots. I took one, not having a clue as to what I was getting into. In looking back on it Lady Luck was truley watching out for me that day!
When I got to Battalion I was sent to the R.I.P. (indoc) program. Back then the classes were run by Battalion. They were small classes (15-20) and offered much personal attention by the instructors
So yes, as a newbie I found the learning curve more straight up than a curve at all. It really all boils down to you, you must want it more than anything else and never give up on yourself or your Ranger Buddies.
Maintaining that mindset will help you get through. I am telling you now that it is all worth it (it was for me) and you will learn more about yourself than you ever thought possible. My advise is Go for it.
The very best of luck to you.

Thanks everyone.
Ranger Bugsy, I'll try to love up to that quote. :)
Ranger Hoover, It's good to know that it's not impossible for someone who hasn’t been training for a lifetime before they got into Boot.
Right now I'm a burning blob of skin and bones, having just gotten back from a run with a friend after doing the run till I puke and get up and run some more deal at DEP PT last night. The good news is that some of the nasty stuff that’s been in my lungs for a decade or so is starting to make it's way out so I can really breath again.
Thanks for the motivation guys. I'll be there soon enough.

Private Pile.
Lucky for you these boys love the underdog.
If you had snivelled one fuckin' word you would have been hammered.
You don't seem to be a sniveller.
Maybe there's hope....
