Hello Rangers/Bad Mothers
My name is Eric i'm 21 and on a violent journey to become a Ranger. I have a contract, but I realize that only puts me at the door of RIP/Hell and the rest is up to me. I leave for Ft. Benning on January 13th for OSUT, then i'm off to airborn right after that and I hope RIP soon after. I thank all of you, Rangers and Vets. for all the critical info, you have helped me alot. I hope to someday wear the Coveted Black and Gold with honor and represent the way a real Hooah Ranger should. I hope to someday Lead The Way, but untill then, "Rangers Lead The Way!"
Eric
Welcome
...but I feel like I just read this intro elsewhere:
Flattery is a good compliment. Sugarman was copied already.glacius wrote:Posted: Sat Dec 18, 2004 7:38 am Post subject: Wannabe RANGER intro

My name is Robert I just turned 21 years of age. I would like to start out that I start the rest of my life by going to MEPS Jan13 to ship out to OSUT training which starts Jan21. I have a 11b opt.40 contract in writing and I am as ready as I can get. Cause I don't know what's going to happen when I get there I know that the contract only gets me to the door of RIP I have to prove the rest and take it. I truly appreciate all of the info that "yall" have given me from this site. And I can't wait to bear the Coveted Black and Gold.
Where RANGERS lead the Way I will follow.
Robert

Expect heat and smoke for a long time!!!!! You will be fucked with up until you go to Ranger school, than afterwards it's a different kind of heat, then you will be expected to lead by example. There is always pressure in Bn because you are expected "to move farther, faster and fight harder than any other soldier." Learn the Creed, it's a way of life!!!!

Re: wannabees
Welcome. Did you guys meet at MEPS, going in under the buddy system or what?Sugarman091 wrote:Both Robert and I leave the sameday, we both have 11x Opt 40 contracts. Thats why or post are some much alike. (January 13) One thing I know very little about it being in BN. Rangers/Bad Muthers, could you please give me an idea of what BN would be like? The first month and then after if they do let up on newbees once they have taken some heat? Thanks
Wannabee, Eric
