Obviously you guys have have never read the little-known Sandhurst edition of The Hobbit, wherein the Baggins family consisted of Bilbo Baggins, Frodo Baggins, and of course it goes without saying, Ranger Baggins.

Its nice to have yet another member of the coon skin cap wearing Rangers who shot muskets. Welcome, young man!

That's closer to the truth than you can imagine. Here's a little humor ditty I wrote for the 75th Ranger Regimental Association magazine 'Patrolling' about smooth bore muskets in a Vietnam Ranger Company. It's called 'Virgin Car-15':

Welcome hobbit.

Glad to have you at ArmyRanger.com

I have been to your website, but not recently. I definitely will have to re-check it out.

Here is my unit's website: www.4thdivrangers.com We've been on line for almost ten years already. I was in the 2nd Brigade before we merged into K/75. You'll never find me in the photo, I am disguised as a LRRP.

Thanks again for the heartfelt welcomes. An old warrior could get downright comfortable around this place.

Hey Steadfast. Check out the K Company Ranger area of your web site. There's an L Company team picture there of me on my last Ranger mission, and a photo I forwarded to your web site of a bunch of K Company Rangers who came up to the 101st when the 4th stood down. They're all at the Bob Hope Christmas Show at Camp Eagle in 1970 in that photo.
