Hi, my name is Roy, I'm 18 years old, and I just finished airborne school last friday with Delta Co.

I'm currently waiting with about 60 other guys to get sent to RIP hold. Respect for every Ranger on this site and out in the world.

Welcome to the site, Roy! Congratulations on Airborne! I have a son who finished the week before Thanksgiving, so he is already in Hold. He will probably get into RIP in January. You may run into him as you all wait and work in Hold.

How'd OSUT go for you?

Read and read - - there's lots of stuff in the About RIP forum, to start with. Not just what to expect, but also a little insight into the mindset needed.
