Yes sir, still around august. To prepare I am doing the following:
-5 mile runs for time. Always shoot for under 40 min.
-Lots of push ups, sit ups, pull ups and chin ups. (I realize you can be told to do either pull ups or chin ups depending on your superiors opinion.)
-Run, run, run. Lots of it.
-1-2 times a week ruck in pants and combat boots with a 45-50 pound ruck.
-quick showers
-5:15 wake up and plan to get all my PT/breakfast in before 09.
-weight lifting
-taking practice ASFAB test and studying up on my Ranger history.
Thats about it. I got to meet Ranger, Puckett at Ranger grad. Very inspirational person.
Thank you.

Ralph Puckett is a pretty impressive individual. He definitely ranks in an elite few folks that I say I am proud to just to have gotten a chance to speak to and shake his hand.
Sounds like you are taking your preparation seriously. Use this site as a resource for physical training. There is a lot of information on it. Also, Google or whatever search engine you like can give you tons of free advice too.
You're still a young adult though. Remember to have some fun. There is plenty of time to be serious and wake up super early in the military.

Well shit in a bucket! We got us another Vossman in the wire eh? Unless his mom is a hot model (the only kind I banged) I don't think I'm involved in this one. By the way, maybe we call him Vossman26 instead of my handle?
Step 1 complete. Congrats on getting a contract... not everyone does. You have a couple months to train up.
