introduction

Post by fallout511 »

Hello, my name is mark and Im 19. I have received An 11x Option 40 and my Ship date for basic is 20160920. I Come from a family who has always encouraged a military career so I have wanted this since a young age. I received a three year army scholarship and attended Morehead State University in KY for two semesters. I wanted to enlist right after hs to get in the fight but i figured id see how college was (wasn't for me at this time in my life). I have been browsing this site, trying to soak up as much info as possible. Everyday I anticipate the date i get to ship off to serve my country and try my best to uphold the selfless service so many veterans have had before. thank you Rangers for your service.

Thank you Ranger Jim for the typo correction. The reason ive wanted to be a Ranger is to serve in the military at the peak of physical fitness and mental toughness, as this is what the 75th Ranger Rgt. requires. I have always loved a challenge and have always wanted to be the best i can possible be at everything I put my mind to. I have been blessed with good genetics and the opportunity to serve in the 75th so as far as im concerned im the luckiest guy in the world. I understand theres a ton of work to do but im going to love every second of it.

Attention to detail is a very important Ranger trait.

You're basically on here applying for a job and yet you're posting as if you're texting with some old buddies.

Clean up your posts' and double check everything before hitting submit, you may garner a little more attention from Rangers on here if you're not typing like a knuckle headed teenager.

Otherwise it's akin to showing up at an interview with baggy sweatpants and boxer shorts hanging out.

Make sense? Rangers are professionals for a reason.

Now he has not been on site since 10 August 2016. Guess he lost interest, Jeff.

Roger Sir. He's listed his ship date as 20Sep16. I hope he's been busy getting squared away. Time will tell.
