Hello Rangers, My name is Armando I am a 17 year old Junior in high school, i reside in a small town named Yucaipa, CA. I've wanted to join the military since i was in 7th grade and by 8th grade i found out about the Rangers and it was what i wanted to do after HS. I have been athletic all my life but last year i played football and wrestled i believe that wrestling not only helped with my physical stand point but also humbled me. I took my ASVAB at the beginning of the month and I'm just waiting to get it back since then i have started to talk to a recruiter i told him i wanted Opt 40 11x and he started talking about doing reserves i told him again i want to be a Ranger be part of the brotherhood and he said he couldn't talk to me till senior year, from what I've read here is you can sign opt 40 on DEP maximum 14 months before graduation which for me would be in February. Any input Rangers, Thanks for being the part of the elite brotherhood.
