Intro Martindale
Hello Rangers and fellow future Rangers my names Martindale. I am currently a sophmore I'm 17 and I will meet any needs to obtain a opt. 40 on my contract. I plan to go through colleage, well attending the National Guard. Than after 4 years of colleage I plan to go straight to the 75th, and then to Ranger School. I would love any advice you Ranger's could give me to get there the smoothest.
Do'ent loss faith!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Intro Martindale
Martindale, If you want to earn a place in the 75th Ranger Regiment, you came to the right site. We take pride in the fine young men who pass through armyranger.com in their life journey. Please begin by reading the FAQs as well as selected threads and stickies. Most questions you might have are already addressed. The search feature, located on the top right of this page is your friend. I hope you find the recruiting link helpful. Having said all this, I think you are confused because you have identified a number of opportunities, but in many cases they are self-canceling. Begin by telling us more about yourself. Where are you from? Why do you want to be a Ranger. Have you had any actual Ranger contacts? Have you contacted a recruiter? Please self-administer a PT test and post your results on this thread within 72 hours. Never, never quit!

Re: Intro Martindale
Young man, the tone, spelling, and grammar of your introductory post leave much to be desired. Your intentions are admirable but somewhat flawed. This is not Facebook or any other common social media site. If you read the threads, especially the ones intended for young aspirants, you will learn there are certain standards to be maintained.

I note you went to the recruiting thread with that sig line. Recommend you change it to English, as it gives me a headache.

Re: Intro Martindale
Sorry your right Ranger Jim and Ranger Lefty I'll get right on it. But I am from Wister Oklahoma, and I want to be a Ranger to follow in my great uncles footsteps. He was a Ranger in WW2 he was crippled from a head wound. Where he lost all his balance and could'ent stand. He was and is the greastest man I think I'll meet.(His name was Jay Hicks) No I have'ent had any Ranger contacts. But I have talked to my recruiter he said we'll cross that bridge when we get to it. And would'ent go into anymore detail with me.
Do'ent loss faith!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you taken the ASFAB or any other tests to determine your eligibility to enlist?

Don't loss faith in God Ranger Jim. Because with him you can do any task no matter how big it seems. Because nothing is bigger or stronger then him.

Did you go to eschool?
Contraction are what you are not doing properly.
1st word shown above: Do'ent - is not a word.
2nd word shown above: Have'ent - is not a word.
3rd item is that you did not recognize these were not correct words.
And last the word "loss" is incorrect - it should have been: lose
or Do not lose faith! (one exclamation point is enough.)
If you can not use contractions correctly - then just complete the thought minus the contraction.
Ranger Jim has not lost faith, he merely asked for clarification from you. His question went right over your head into left field.
