Intro-The Adder
Hello All,
I've been lurking around, off and on, for a few years and after receiving a PM from Jim decided to finally show myself. So here goes:
I served in C co, 2nd Platoon 2/75 from '82 thru '84, then HHC S4 Ammo Section 2/75 from '84 to my ETS in '85. I was known as "Bones" then due to my skinny ass appearance. Oh to have that again! No Ranger School date as I failed the CWST so I'm a "Tabless Bitch". I could make excuses but a "No Go" is a "No Go".
I met a few of you at the 2004 reunion at Ft. Lewis. My ex and I spent a day at Mt. Rainier with one of the members of this board. I am currently a LEO in Southern California. I just hit the big 50 and am wondering where the time went. Of course I look back at my time in 2nd Batt as a defining point in my life that I will cherish forever.

Welcome. Thanks for surfacing after all these years. I agree with you that those with a Ranger experience are better men for it. Please become more active, now that you are one of us FOGs.

The feeling is mutual sir. It's good to be with like minded individuals who share similar experiences. While I do work with numerous veterans from different services it's the Ranger Brotherhood and mentality that I have been missing. Should have come in outta the cold sooner.

Welcome Adder. Finally someone on here that can do math.

Thanks Cams. Funny thing is the handle has nothing to do with my math skills, or lack thereof. It refers to the snake. I won't bore you with the details but suffice to say it involved a copious amount of alcohol, some Steve Irwin impersonations and a bunch of guys, out painting the town, trying to be funny.

Welcome! I completely disagree...sounds like it would be a great time to bore us with those details! The Adder wrote:Thanks Cams. I figured it was in ref to the snake. My dry sense of humor won out though.
