Correction: As he was in the Greek contigent of the 8th Army he did not recieve the Victoria Cross as it goes to British troops only. My cousin from Australia corrected me by telling me his father was awarded the Greek ANDREAS AXIOS cross.Chiron wrote:I have an Aunt and two 1st cousins down under in Melbourne.
