The honest-to-God truth is that whatever you get outside of a guaranteed MOS is a shot in the dark for you. The Army is cutting back, and very picky (comparative to years past anyway) right now. You don't qualify for a clearance because of legal issues and you require a tattoo waiver. Hate to break the news to you, but you aren't exactly the most exciting thing to ever walk through a recruiters door. If you get airborne school in your contract, then you would be doing pretty good. If you want cool-guy schools, then earn them once you are in and have proven that you aren't a waste of anyones time. I'm not saying you are, but I'm not saying you aren't either. There is only one way to prove your worth in the military.
"Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorius triumphs, even though checkered by failure... than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat."
