Ranger Jim,
it'd be a much better place if people would lift themselves off the ground by pulling their own bootstraps instead of what I am seeing more and more of in our society today where many think they are entitled to non ending, life long hand outs without working or having worked for them.

My grandparents and mom would kick my backside if I tried to fluff off and not pull my fair share of the family workload. Like getting up at o dark thirty before heading off to school to go shovel the driveway or sweep the snow off the roof when it had accumulated in feet.

Everytime I go to Starbucks, I have the feeling that if my Grandmother could see me, she would whip me with a stick for paying $1.84 for a cup of coffee.

Was just thinking about when I use to pull out the watering hose when it was freezing outside and wet down the lawn next to our house to make me an ice skating rink, I use to think it was so cool even though I'd skate one or two steps and then have to hop a stretch of grass then skate one or two steps and hop a stretch of grass......................

My mom told me she was so proud of my ingenuity that she couldn't get made at me about using the water I did, I can just imagine what the water bill looked like
