Growing up in the tropical climate of Buffalo, NY.....This is the time of year when the 1st snow hits when my sisters and I would pull out a kiddy pool from the rafters in our garage, fill it up, invite friends over, play some good music, make fruit punch, bring in bright lights, put heaters on all around us, wear sunglasses and make like we were in Florida enjoying the sun. As we got older, towards end of high school, college years we might have spiked the fruit juice a bit but we still would have these 1st days of snow garage beach parties and celebrate. Here's to your winter like weather being over quickly!!

Up here, trading winter-like weather gets you no-shit winter weather. I do like the idea of filling a kiddie pool with college girls and booze, however.

Well, I don't know about about anybody else's AO, but I have heard that up Lunch's way in no-shit winter weather you can leave a candle burning outside overnight, have the flame freeze solid, snap it off in the morning, and throw it on the ground for the chickens to peck at. Of course, once one of them snaps it up, it thaws out and roasts the chicken for you. At least, that's what I have heard.....
