Just thought Id give a quick update,
Almost finished with the clinical medicine block in SOCM. We have about another month of it. the 7 Rangers here are doing well right now. They extended the course to 9 months now instead of the old 6. I guess they added in stuff from SFMS. I will say the pre- SOCM program down at regiment helped out immensely so far. The boys and I showed up here with a lot of experience and knowledge in the clinical medicine part and anatomy. It was a bit of a shock that a bunch of privates had more knowledge on things then some senior NCO's going through the course. Im very grateful for all the things they taught us back in Benning before we came. its a lot of stuff to learn but Im glad they are training us to the level that they are.
