Intro - April

Postby GUCCiBEAR143 » December 3rd, 2011, 8:57 pm

Greetings ^_^
My name is aJ and I'm an almost, 6 days away from RASP graduation, soldier's girlfriend. In the beginning I just wanted to get information and history on the unit my bf is so dedicated and determined to join. Most of the information available did not really address my specific inquiries such as: what to expect at Airborne grad and now, RASP grad. I came upon the forums searching, but read heart felt stories instead. The more I drove 13hrs each way to Fort Benning almost every other weekend I'm off work and after each morning run from the towers to the Ranger's Monument, the more interested I became. As I listened to him & hs battle buddies trade their experiences when I chauffered them off base because the main & mini PX's ran out of deodorants or laundry detergents, I started to understand and appreciate more.
I hope you'all welcome me; I promise I won't be posting much.
To all our soldiers and their families, thank you for your service and sacrifice.

@CharlieRanger1FFV, thank you =)

@Troglodyte, thank you =) I'm one lucky woman, too!

@Slowpoke, thank you =)

@Ranger Ron, thank you =)

@wazzle, thank you =) Thank you to you & your sons as well. Have lots of memories @3rd Batt Fort Benning =D

@Jim, thank you =D Yes, he's received his tan beret. I even watched him shave & form it. I have good pictures of the new & massive MCOE. He reminds everyone that congratulates him that he's not done "a thing" yet. Now, he begins earning the scroll =) I wish I could share pictures, but IDK how. I'm new to forums.

p.s. I am now a proud Ranger wife =D
