Incendiary devices would be nice to clear the foliage.

Step 3. Walk up to the Taliban offer them MRE brownies, then flex cuff them
Step 4. Compensate the "farmer" with tobacco seed.

Back in the day I had an incendiary device that destroyed tons of pot. You had to constantly change the water in it though, or the pipe stem would get clogged up.
