Circuit training

Post by S0LiD SN4KE »

Rangers I've recently just started circuit training and I would like to know your opinions on it.Has it helped you? Would you recommend it to anyone? Would you like to incorporate workouts you've done onto here?

Concentrate on form. Speed and strength will follow.

Best bet, IMHO, is body weight; push ups, pull ups, loading trucks, swimming - real work that strengthens the body the way that you use it.

Others will know more. These days I prefer to lift my weights in 16oz curls and one forkful at a time. :D

Loading trucks is the act of taking objects, usually somewhat heavy, and placing them into or removing them from a truck for transportation. This truck can either be personal, such as a pickup truck, or business, such as a UPS/FedEx truck.

He can correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the point he was getting at is that doing actual work with your body is just as beneficial, if not more so, than traditionally thought of exercise.

If you don't believe me, try digging a substantial hole. You WILL feel it the next day, no matter what shape you are in.

Another way to get better at PT is to get your ass off the computer and do some PT. Don't respond. Just do pushups.

OK so I think the problem is that you thought it was the name of an exercise rather than just a physical activity.

You got it R-X, thanks for covering my a**.

Prospective recruits should take a job at the DPW or for a private garbage collection company. Excellent preparation for basic training. You get used to getting up a half hour before most teen agers go to bed. Arise at 0330 or 0430 to get to work lifting and tossing loads of up to 80 pounds in any sort of weather for 6-8 hours doing a job that the general public considers most suitable for losers. A hard workout in the great outdoors, a humbling attitude adjustment to ease your transition into the reality of a raw recruit; all that AND you get paid too. How can you beat that for a good deal? :D

You must live where the cans or bags can levitate themselves into the back of the truck. :P

That depends on whether or not you have the "package" to require heavy lifting. :P

Quit running your suck and go do some PT. You're already drawing too much fire from all the goddamned noise you're making. Don't answer me. Just do it. If you're not studying, learning about and improving your PT scores, and figuring out how, when and where you can serve, go back to Facebook.
