Enlisted in the Army in Oct. '03 and was at RIP in Apr. '04. Had a heat stroke with a core body temp of 109 degrees F and almost died while in class in May. Was called into 1SG Pippin's office and told to come back in 6 months. Almost medically discharged but instead got sent to the 173rd in Italy. Went to Afghan from '05-'06 and then onto Ft. Bragg where I got out in '07 and am now residing in Phx.

I must say, had I nearly died from heatstroke, Phoenix would not have been at the top of my list for places to settle.

Yea its ironic that I'm from Phx and was a heat cas in RIP. No doubt I should be living in a cooler climate.
