Sitrep - Tiffen

Post by Tiffen »

Rangers,

Its been a while since I posted and this sitrep is long overdue, so here goes. I enlisted 20100604, and put off my ship date to wait for Ranger slots to open up. I got lucky and got one of the first openings a couple weeks ago, because I was in the Recruiters office almost every day, bugging them about it. I'm scheduled to go to MEPS for my Airborne physical next Wednesday. My original ship date was 20110621, but my recruiter says that will be pushed back to mid July so I have plenty of time to improve my APFT scores.

Latest APFT Results:

60 Pushups
83 Situps
13:30 2 mile

Pushups are definitely my weakness right now so that's what I'll be focusing on.

Updates to come.

You were doing more pushups in November 2008. Attention to detail, Tiffen! Never, never quit!

Rangers,

I went to meps and secured my 11x Option 40. I know I haven't made the best impression here but I will NOT waste this opportunity and I WILL become a Ranger. Continuing PT.

Good on you for obtaining an Option 40. Please self-administer another PT test and post your results on this thread. Suspense is Midnight Sunday, 20 March 2011. Never, never quit!
