Heading home on leave after 2 months in theater. I traded with one of my Soldiers who has a kid in Afghanistan (yes he's an old as fuck SSG) who's leave coincided with my original date (which was getting me home for my sons first Bday). Now I get to spend Xmas in Kuwait and 8 months in theater after my leave.

Actually you can. I'd say that between about -25 and -40 I can't really tell the difference, it's just fucking cold. However, once it gets past the -45 mark, you can definitely tell because it's just pure misery.
