I was wondering if a Ranger could message me about a possible Phony or bring up a manifest to verify or not if he is legitamite. My friend who is a Ranger ( Ranger52) produced a challenge coin to a man who works at a bar setting; offering to buy the man a beer if he was in fact a Ranger.
The man failed to produce (said his coin was with buried with his father) causing my friend to be upset and ultimately getting thrown out. Knowing people at the bar, I was able to talk to the man in question to get some more information for my Ranger buddy and have you decide to do with what information you see fit,
His claims are as follows:
Period of service: 1996 - 2002
Ranger school: 1996 - 1997 (fall) doesn't remember
claims: shot and stabbed
27 missions
Said he was in the 75th Ranger Regiment (HQ is what he said when I asked which battalion)
