intro for Hminus2p

Hello to all my name is Richard. I am a retired 1sg having retired in 2004. Majority of my time was spent at Ft. Bragg with 2/505 I graduated Ranger school with class 7-88 spent 2000-2002 as 1sg at the Airborne school first with Eco. The Riggers who supported not only the school but 3/75 and 75th Regiment. Then as Aco 1sg. Thank you all for your service.

Thanks for your service and is it true that Riggers once threw a monkey out of C-130 in a T-10 chute?

I heard that 5th SFG did it in Viet-Nam. Think it was discussed in Robin Moore's book, The Green Berets. Supposidly, the monkey was killed because it tried to climb up the suspension lines.

So that's where it started. I originally heard the story from a Rigger in my RIP class back in '79.....
