No, but take it a step further; whisk in a little garlic/onion powder and pepper. If you like the top slightly baked placed under a medium broiler for 2 minutes- or have I just gone way too far into mac -n- cheese land.

Forgot that. Bacon should be part of the required daily food pyramid. I am fairly certain it was headed for that designation when Bush was CinC. But I am pretty sure it is now going to be banned under ObamaCare. That said, it may be my first experience as a "law" breaker. Bacon Sacre Fames.
