Gout?

Post by ertdoc222 »

Doc,
Is Gout a disqualifier for entrance into military service, even though the person takes medication daily for it, and is under control. If entrance is allowed, would all options be open to him (i.e. Airborne, RIP, Battalion, or SF). Any help or further contact for this information would be helpful. The
PM for your earlier requested information is inbound sometime this weekend.

Doc,
Thanks for the help, I also consulted online regs and found the same answer. This guy is a TL on my ERT and is extremely interested, and I feel would make a valuable contribution to the army. I will contact SFC Hit_It this weekend for guidance.
