Re: Sprained wrist and sinus problem
See a doctor. Better to get a good diagnosis and treatment plan from a real doctor than to get advice from well meaning folks off the internet.

Blisters we can assist you with, muscle soreness as well, but injuries to joints and major body components are best left in the hands of medical professionals. While there are several here it's not every going to be the same as someone actually looking at the injury and doing a proper assessment.

I am not a doctor, but if you are having trouble breathing while doing PT if could be something more than just sinus allergies. You defiantly need to get checked out !Hitokiri wrote: Also do any of you know any remedies for sinus,,ive taken medicine and it doesnt work and it reallly interferes with my running I cant run for long with out having to stop and take a breather.

FT is right,
This is not the place for medical advice....for shits sake figure out if you are hurt or injured...hurt means drive on, injured meas it prevents you from driving on...use your friggin brain bucket for something other than a Hadji lucky shot...go see a doc and get MEDICAL ADVICE THERE!!!!

Re: Sprained wrist and sinus problem
In your own words, you just hit several reasons why you need to see a physician and not just seek some advice. Everyone on the this board who is qualified to conduct medicine would want to do a complete exam of the wrist and your sinuses before making any kind of recommendations. The simple fact that you had a prior fracture would have come out in an exam conversation and is very important in the prognosis/diagnosis decided upon.
Bottomline: go see a doctor and get a referral to a specialist if needed...

Re: Sprained wrist and sinus problem
I just got back from the doctors and he said things could go either way I could be fucked for a while or they might be able t fix it without much work the annoyince is due to a part of my bone having been chiped off from my fracture, but the problem seems to be more than that so i will need an MRI to pinpoint the problem but without insurance the best i can do is see a specialist and see what he recommends. I feel like my dream has just been robbed right under my feet but their is nothing i can do but listen to the doctors orders and stay positive.

Re: Sprained wrist and sinus problem
They used too, I had to have an orthopedic consult (doc checked me out to if my knee and hand could stand up to Ranger training), then you get the waiver for the ortho prob.

Re: Sprained wrist and sinus problem
A few years ago, one of my mentees broke both forearms in a motorcycle accident the week before he was supposed to ship. He lost his contract, had surgery with hardware installed. He re-habbed, got his strength back, and enlisted again with an Option 40 about a year later. But that was then.

Re: Sprained wrist and sinus problem
You may be jeopardizing your chances if you go out of the country to get this done. Might be very hard for them to get documents associated with your medical care. What happens if you go there get it done and then can't get a medical waiver, because it was done in some 3rd world country.

Re: Sprained wrist and sinus problem
well i have good news Rangers my aunt convinced me to go to a local massage therapist in tj before i went to the doctor so i agreed because i had the same person put a spine disk back into place once and wouldnt you know after 5 minutes of cracking and what not it was fixed and he said i didnt have any ligaments torn just had my bones ontop of each other....i felt realived to be able to regain my future plan back..but also pissed as fuck..why the hell did the doctor here tell me i tore a freking ligament..he told me i would have to pay for the MRI and all this other bullshit..wtf did he just want to take my money or what...
so i should be back on the push up and weighlifting on monday O and i also got treated with homeopathic herbs for the sinus and its clearing away..
